Milton Tennis Club is required to pay the Milton Community Centre for the use and maintenance of the of the courts and lights. The amount paid by MTC is based on the membership numbers. MTC try to keep the membership fees down to a minimum as far as possible and the costs are considerably less than other clubs in the Cambridge area.
Membership fees are due in full from 1st April each year – the start of the season and last for one year from this date i.e. until 31st March the following year. N.B. Full membership fees are applicable for anybody joining the club at any time throughout the season i.e. there is no pro-rata arrangement on membership fees.
Mauve coloured shoe tags will apply for the 2021 season. Memberships are now being taken for the 2021 season. Please note you will need to complete an application form whether payment is by cash or on-line (see link below). For on-line payments please ensure payment is made before your application form is submitted to the membership secretary. N.B. Use your surname as a reference if paying on-line in order to identify your payment.
For the 2021 season these are held at 2019 levels:
Corporate – off peak play only (before 5pm Monday to Friday and all day Sat and Sun) for up to 8 named people within a company. Corporate membership does not qualify for subsidised coaching.
If you would like to join the club you will need to download the MTC_ Application Form 2021 and return it completed to Sue Griffin or Jeff Beckett. Membership fees will not be accepted without a 2020 form. On line payments must have a name reference. New members will be issued with their mauve 2021 numbered shoe tags and key as appropriate.
New members should obtain these from Sue or Jeff before accessing the courts. Also membership shoetags and keys will be available at the courts on Wednesday clubnights from 18:00 to 18:30 only from Sue Griffin or Jeff Beckett on receipt of a completed membership form and cheque, correct cash amount or evidence of bank transfer.

As a member you will be entitled to a key to the padlock to gain access to the main courts. There is a £10 deposit required for the key – refundable on return of the key when you leave the club or when recalled by the club. The refund will be forfeited if the key is not to returned to the club within the specified timeframe. Due to Health and Safety legislation Junior members will not be issued with keys – an Adult must accept full responsibility for the correct use of the key.
Each paid up member, including all named children for family membership and all named individuals for Corporate membership, will be issued with a numbered mauve Milton TC 2021 shoe tag. This must be worn at all times when playing on the court and is effectively evidence of your paid up membership. The colour of the shoe tags is currently changed annually to track membership.
Anyone playing on court without a current shoe tag or key and unable to prove membership, will be asked to leave.
